This is a technique that I have been wanting to try for some time now, ever since I saw this fabulous card and video by Sandy Allnock. (Thanks yet again for more wonderful inspiration). I had this card published by the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine and was lucky enough to make the cover too!
So glad you could stop by, I’ll be back in a couple of days with another video!
I am just sitting here wondering just how I possibly survived in my stamping life ‘pre MISTI’. After years of stamping I am an ‘alright’ stamper but now it doesn’t matter and for today’s technique it literally became a breeze! I filmed so you could see what I mean,
I adore this flower from Altenew but have you ever had one of those days or should I say, one of those cards? It felt like I was fighting the whole time lol, but I was determined to finish and hopefully I ended up with something just a little presentable. You can watch my video here to see what I mean….
For such a very clean and simple card would you believe that I used a total of 4 stamp sets! Today is all about centering lettering stamps, with lots of Altenew goodness and a video to explain the procedure.
Today at Scrapbook Boutique I have another installation in my Cards 4 Men using Images series. I totally ‘had to have’ this Viking from Avery Elle and thought he was the perfect for a masculine design. I decided to film as I created so you could watch the process.
I wanted to use my Inktense pencils today because they certainly don’t seem to get anywhere near enough love in my craft room. I just love the vibrant colours they give along with the watercolour look, they are awesome! Today I use lots of Penny Black products and I decided to Colour with ‘U’….

I think my inspiration is fairly obvious…. the greys with a pop of citron and I was a happy girl. I am totally loving these design papers from Cocoa Vanilla Studios, and don’t even start me on how good these Nuvo drops are!
