Card Class Day 7!

Back in class!   And it’s Day 7, for me….     I am loving all that gorgeous white space, and I could make these cards forever!   It was only when I finished this card I realised that it could be for Christmas, score one for me, I’m getting in early!   I was inspired by Jen Rzasa who is this month’s Muse at CASE Study, I couldn’t resist.  Thanks for visiting.

Blitzen 2011.

I would just like to take a moment to say Merry Christmas to you all!  When I started ‘blogging’ just over a year ago (after some encouragement from a friend) I had absolutely no idea how the people I ‘met’ would become such an important part of my life.  I really appreciate the friendships, encouragement and support from you all, and wish you all the ‘funnest’ Xmas ever followed by a fantastic 2012!

I thought I would share my Xmas card for 2011.  I found this amazing stamp from Stamp-It, I gotta say it made me smile!  I’m heading off now to make pancakes for breakfast before hubby gets home from night duty. Have a good one!

Season’s Greetings

So my husband says to me yesterday, ‘can you just make me 6 Christmas cards’ (maybe just a few choice words were spoken under breath – I can’t remember exactly)….  I thought I was done, but alas no.  But to the rescue comes this weeks challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps and guess what, it’s Say it With Christmas Cards, perfect!  I combined it with the ‘Splash of Teal’ over at The Play Date Cafe, and Less Is More is having a Music themed challenge!  One down and only five to go…..

Joy

I made this quick little card for the Less Is More challenge using a one layer card with the theme, Let It Snow.  I was also inspired by the Simon Says Stamp Challenge by this awesome picture collated by Joy, obviously it was the wreath I was interested in.   Don’t you think pearls make fantastic baubles?

Christmas Sheep?

Who says sheep can’t be Christmassy…   well, this one is!  I have been wanting to join in at Lawnscaping Challenges (but sadly haven’t had time…  I’ve been watching though), anyway this week it’s a Tag challenge and I needed some tags, at Christmas, I know it’s hard to believe and now I’m wondering why I didn’t start making them earlier…   oh yes, I’m going to do that next year (aren’t I)!  I’m also going to enter Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes, because as it says…  Anything Goes!  For this tag I was inspired by a very talented paper crafter Annette over at My Clever Creations, Thanks heaps!  ps. I moved back into my craft room today…  and I am definitely doing my happy dance, it comes with new paint and a light directly above my desk, yipppeeee….   funny how it’s the small things that make us happy!!

ETA: A kind friend told me about the Color Q Challenge and recommended that I should join in with them as this tag, fits the bill.  I haven’t played with them before, but am really inspired by their color palettes, they are totally awesome!

Christmas Tag... is that a sheep?

Other Supplies:  Pencils – Sky Blue Light, Cloud Blue, Powder Blue, Carmine Red, Spring Green, Apple Green, Olive Green, 20% French Grey, Blush Pink.

Let’s Chill

This is just a fun quick card that I made for family friends.   Their wonderful little daughter loves to draw and colour and often gives us some of her creations.  Last time it was this awesome dyed doily, so I thought it would be fun to create a Xmas card for them using the doily!  Thank you Carys!   I’ve made this card for the current Jay Gee’s Nook challenge (I just adore this inspiration!) as well as joining in the fun at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge, where Anything Goes!  (And while I’m here…  why didn’t anyone tell me about VersaFine – Onyx Black ink before, hello…..  it’s the best for stamping sentiments, so crisp!!)

Holidays with Print Candee!

It’s November and time for another Print Candee Blog creation!  The theme is ‘Holidays’ and kinda appropriate for this time of year.  I am busily working on my Xmas card stash and there are so many wonderful products to choose from at Print Candee.  I have used this amazing Paper Pack created by VN Digital Art and combined it with the Woodland Creatures Clipart by Sparrow Graphics.  What I like about these is the versatility, they make the perfect Xmas card but are not  specifically for Xmas.  I love it if I can ‘multi purpose’ a product!
