Happy Day!

Hiya, hope you are headed into a fab weekend!  I’ve been busy playing with paper today, it’s pouring rain and I’ve had the day off and there is no way I’m riding anywhere in this….  so I’ve had a ball!  Very minimal (meaning, none) housework done today, oh well… I’ve always got tomorrow.

I’ve combined a couple of challenges, when I saw the current Home Sweet Home Tuesday Trigger, I knew that I was Moxie hypnotized…  and I know that I definitely have a need to use some of my ever growing DP stash, so I was in with Simon Says Stamps ‘Use 3 Different Papers’….  got it covered!   Thanks for stopping by today.

I was asked to make a wedding card and since I recently won this awesome set of stamps from the very talented Annette, I couldn’t wait to ink them up!  I just embossed the cake and removed the candles and voila… a wedding cake!  I was inpsired by Virginia’s View at Lilypad Cards, this was perfect timing for me as I was stuggling for ideas!  I would also like to join this week’s challenge at Less Is More where the theme is ‘Punches or Die cuts’.

AnnaBelle Stamps – Say it with… ?

You are going to love this week’s challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps it’s, Say it with… Background Stamps  How easy is that!   I’ve used the Backgrounds By Design 7  with lots of bright colours and a CAS design.

Print Candee Bloghop & Giveaway!

Welcome to another Print Candee Bloghop & giveaway, you should have arrived here from Kalyn’s blog, and then from here it’s off to visit Jocelyn.   Make sure that you started from the beginning because you wouldn’t want to miss anything!   

Due to other commitments Jackie will not be joining us at Print Candee this term and we will miss her greatly, she is one awesome papercrafter.  But there is also some happy news, I would like to say a BIG warm welcome to a new member of our Creative Team, it’s Lisa Arana from Dahlhouse Designs…  I’m one of her biggest fans & was so excited to hear that she was joining us!

Now to business!  This month we are playing with ‘diecuts’ and Print Candee certainly have heaps to choose from.  I kept it simple (no surprise there) and used this awesome butterfly from A Little Dash of This & That called 4 Butterflies svg set and I printed the vellum overlay using Pink Pueblo’s Flower Silhouettes Clipart (2) …   the possibilites are unlimited because you can change the colours and the size of the flowers to suit your projects!!

Playing with Distress Inks!

So this weeks Topical Tuesday over at AnnaBelle Stamps new Stamp Embellish Create social site is playing with Distress Inks and I thought I would give it a try to create my background.   Andrea has made an awesome video showing the techniques!

This card  is a combination of inspiration, I just adored Kim’s SPARKS challenge at Paper Smooches, combined it with CAS-ual Fridays ‘Love Ya to Pieces’ and Simon Says Stamp where ‘Love is in the Air’!  Seems to be a theme amongst the challenges this week…..    wonder what it is?
