Merci for the Die cut Inlay!

One of my fave techniques for sure and especially with this sweet die, I really like how this card turned out and was lucky to have it published with the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine.  You may notice that I’m a little underground at present…  we are camping at the beach (sorry for you guys in the snow, I know it’s cruel).

Gorjuss Snowman at Where has the Year Gone! Christmas 2014

Back with another Chrissy card video at Where has the Year Gone Christmas 2014.  Today I have another fab snowman, this one is from Gorjuss  and I  combined it with some die cut snowflakes, otherwise kept it pretty clean & simple.  For some reason I think this card may have to be hand delivered….

You can see my video here or Watch it at Youtube.

Using Line Art at Scrapbook Boutique (video)!

How cool does Line Art look on a card, my problem is that I can never stop colouring once I start, so at  Scrapbook Boutique I was determined to do it today.   I was inspired  by my very  good blog friend Lisa, who has totally  perfected  this, HERE is one of her  fabulous cards  using this technique.

I decided to film as I created just in case you wanted to watch.

You can see my video here or Watch it at Youtube.

Celebrating 100 at CASE this Sketch!

So so happy to be asked to join in the fun at CASE this Sketch, can you believe this is the 100th Sketch and they are having a party!

This team was an amazing turning point for me creatively, I just couldn’t ‘get’ sketches, for me it was always about the colour and now it’s about both!  Although in saying that, I think I had too many ideas for Chrissy’s fabulous sketch and consequently I struggled with this one, you know how it goes…   should’ve just stuck it in the first place I put it, not move it around for an hour first and then stick it in the original spot lol.

It’s becoming a Crittery Christmas (video)!

I’m having a blast ‘not’ colouring….  who would’ve thought!  Although it is taking some restraint on my behalf, but with Christmas just round the corner, I just don’t have enough time to colour all the chickens haha.  No, truly this was planned as a line art card for my Christmas 2014 series Where has the Year Gone!
